What makes a hat?
Day 2
The artistry of millinery is a mixture of design, colour, construction, trimming, and quality of finish. The finished hat also has to have balance in order for it to be wearable.
Millinery is a combination of art and engineering, hopefully married to produce a beautiful piece of headwear.
The hats displayed will emphasise these principles and open the viewer's eyes into the possibilities when creating millinery.
