Hats should be things of joy. So it's important that they are made in a joyous environment. Life in the workroom is usually a life full of raucous laughter. Not always at the expense of the client, (Honest). The hours are long and the pay is traditionally very low, but the atmosphere is great and the camaraderie compelling.
